What we remove

If a review breaks Amazon's rules, we go after it.

Every removal we pursue is grounded in Amazon's own Community Guidelines — the published rules that define what reviews are and aren't allowed. If a review breaks one of these rules, it can be reported and taken down. These are the main categories we work on:

01

Abuse & hate speech

Profanity, threats, harassment or hatred targeting people.

“The people behind this brand are criminals and belong in prison.”
Personal attack on the seller — says nothing about the product.
02

Fake & manipulated

Fabricated reviews, unverified accounts, or coordinated competitor attacks across listings.

“Never bought this. Just leaving one star so people avoid the brand.”
Reviewer states there was no purchase — and the same wording appears on several listings.
03

Paid & conflicted

Reviews bought with money, refunds or freebies — or written by the brand, competitors or connected parties.

“Received this free in exchange for my honest review.”
Incentivised review — not permitted on any Amazon marketplace.
04

Off-topic

Complaints about the seller, shipping, returns, packaging or pricing — not the product.

“Arrived with the lid cracked, the courier clearly threw the box.”
Delivery damage — belongs in seller feedback, not a product review.
05

Links & private data

Outside links, affiliate codes, emails, phone numbers or other personal information.

“Found it cheaper here: shop-example.com — text me on 555…”
Outside link plus personal contact data in a product review.
06

Spam & policy breaches

Repetitive nonsense, symbol art, or reviews written in an unsupported language.

“aaaaa 👍👍👍👍👍”
No product content at all — symbol art and filler text.
100% compliant. We only work through Amazon's official channels — never bots, fake reviews, or grey-hat tactics. Your seller account is never put at risk. Amazon SPN — Verified Service Provider

Grounded in Amazon’s Community Guidelines

Every removal is tied to a specific Amazon Community Guideline. We never touch honest criticism — we pinpoint the exact rule a review breaks, document the evidence, and report it through Amazon’s official channels. Rule-breaking reviews come down; genuine ones stay up.

Beyond the star rating

When a review comes down, more than your rating moves.

The average is the number everyone watches — but it’s the smallest part of what a removal changes.

01

Conversion

Shoppers read the critical reviews first. A rule-breaking 1-star at the top costs sales even when your average looks fine.

02

Ad spend stops leaking

Every ad click lands on your listing. Cleaner reviews mean the same budget converts more.

03

What Amazon’s AI repeats

“Customers say” and Rufus learn from review text. Removed content is content they stop showing shoppers.

04

Ranking follows conversion

More sales per visitor signals a better product to the algorithm — cleaner reviews compound into position.

05

Copycats lose their script

A visible “scam” or damage review invites the next one. Remove the anchor, stop the echo.

06

A fair picture for buyers

A shipping complaint says nothing about your product. Removal doesn’t game the rating — it makes it accurate.

Where this comes from

Built from years inside Amazon accounts — not from a playbook.

Most providers start where the report is filed. This started years earlier, in the accounts themselves.

Troubleshooting & escalations

Years on the cases standard support couldn’t solve

Suppressed listings, blocked ASINs, account-health warnings — thousands of tickets. You learn fast which arguments move an Amazon team, and which trigger a template.

What that changes for youYour report is written the way Amazon’s teams actually read it.
Operational, not theoretical

Working inside seller accounts, every day

Catalogue, Brand Registry, compliance, Buy Box. I know what a case looks like from the inside — and what it does to the rest of the account.

What that changes for youWe never put your account at risk for a single review.
Persistence with a system

Thousands of cases, one lesson repeated

Few cases are won on the first attempt. They’re won by finding the exact guideline broken — and escalating with a new argument, not the same one again.

What that changes for youA template rejection is where our work starts, not where it ends.
Where it all comes together

5,000+ reviews taken down the compliant way

Every case checked individually, argued against a specific rule, filed through official channels. No bots, no grey-hat tricks.

What that changes for youJudgement from years inside Amazon accounts — not a template machine.
Why that matters: anyone can send a report. Knowing which guideline a review actually breaks, how an Amazon team reads it, and when to escalate instead of resend — that only comes from working the cases.

FAQ

Everything you need to know

Is this against Amazon's rules?+
No. Starfix only files cases for reviews that violate Amazon's own community guidelines, and we only ever work through official channels. There are no bots, fake reviews or grey-hat tactics involved, so your seller account is never at risk.
Do you need access to my account?+
To get started, your ASINs are enough — nothing else, and you never share passwords. For certain cases we do need limited access later on: Seller Central with restricted permissions, so we can file reports directly from your account and track cases — with no access to finances or payouts. If your brand is registered, Brand Registry as well, because some reporting channels are only available to brand owners. Access is only requested when a case actually requires it — never upfront by default. You grant the permissions yourself through Amazon's user management and can revoke them at any time.
What does it actually cost?+
A single flat fee of $150 per review we successfully remove — purely success-based, billed automatically as soon as the review is gone. There's no subscription and no card required to start. If we remove nothing, you owe nothing.
Which marketplaces do you cover?+
15+ Amazon marketplaces, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Canada and Mexico. One service handles all of your regions.
How many reviews can you remove?+
It depends entirely on how many of your reviews actually violate Amazon's guidelines. After the free audit you'll see exactly which reviews are removable before you decide to proceed — there's no guesswork.
What happens after a review is removed?+
We attach proof to each removal in your overview, and you're only ever charged for those successful removals. We also keep monitoring weekly so new violating reviews get caught early.
